Yin Xiuzhen's Cultivation series is currently on view in the inaugural group exhibition "Before the Earth Falls Down" at the new Shanghai Jiushi Art Museum, curated by Jiang Jiehong. The exhibition "abandons rigid ideological statements and employs diverse artistic media—including painting, installation, video, and sound—to allow viewers to engage in a sophisticated dialogue with all things through contemplation and feeling, reflecting on globally shared topics concerning all things based on the urban context of the Bund. [...] With a distinctive artistic vision rooted in observations and reflections on the current state of ecology, the exhibition uses highly site-specific artistic expressions to capture the disappearance and growth, the miniature and the monumental, the ephemeral and the eternal."
