Ma Qiusha's work Yosemite is currently on view in the group exhibition "Stay Connected: Supplying the Globe" at Tai Kwun in Hong Kong. As the second chapter of the "Stay Online: Art and China After 2008" exhibition series, "Stay Online: Global Supply" examines globalization and China's unprecedented economic growth in recent decades, re-evaluating China's role as the world's center of production and logistics in sustaining modern life. The exhibition brings together contemporary artists from China and around the world working with diverse non-traditional media, using installations, performances, and participatory projects to depict the revolutionary impact of globalization on the environment, workplaces, communities, and personal histories. As we move toward a sustainable green economy in the 21st century, the exhibition grounds itself in rarely told local stories, investigating the profound effects of national and global economic development on both natural and urban environments.
