Works by Zhang Xiaogang are currently on view in the exhibition “At 25: Artists’ Early Worlds” at Asia Art Archive in Hong Kong. Marking its 25th anniversary, Asia Art Archive presents this exhibition, inviting eight contemporary Asian artists, across two parts, to respond to a seemingly simple question: “What were you like at 25?”

As one of the four invited artists in At 25: Artists’ Early Worlds (Part I), Zhang Xiaogang (b. 1958, Kunming; lives and works in Chengdu and Beijing), together with Ho Tzu Nyen (b. 1976, Singapore; lives and works in Singapore), Hsieh Tehching (b. 1950, Pingtung; lives and works in New York), and Araya Rasdjarmrearnsook (b. 1957, Trat; lives and works in Chiang Mai), presents artworks alongside rare archival materials on view at Asia Art Archive.
