Works by Shi Jiayun are currently presented in NOV. 10, 2001, a special exhibition jointly launched by totalab and ZiWU Zhiwu.

Taking recent collecting cases and practices active within China’s Generation Z art patronage landscape as its research sample, the exhibition revisits the decisive moment of “November 10, 2001” as a historical threshold and constructs it as a metaphor. Through this return, the exhibition seeks to engage with the multidimensional textures of China’s modernization process and its dialectical entanglement with questions of modernity, while simultaneously revealing the chaotic vitality that has emerged among Chinese artists born in the 1980s and 1990s amid the overlapping of old and new local and global orders.
